News on OPDC

The boards still to be released cover: The Places and thematic policies. Since the Local Plan Consultation began on 4th February we’ve already held 10 drop-in and workshop sessions. During these meetings we’ve tried to illustrate the various proposals visually using big boards, as well as having members of the OPDC planning team on hand to answer any of your questions and receive your feedback and thoughts on the Local Plan proposals.

However, we know people are often busy with work, family and existing commitments that prevent them from attending. So we wanted to share and make the boards available to everyone online.

The first three boards we are publishing online include: - a general introduction - spatial vision - spatial policies .

After you’ve reviewed them, do post your comments online here , send us an email, call us, drop as a letter. Alternatively, you can take part in our live lunchtime Twitter session on 8th and 30th March, both at 1.30pm, using #OPDClocalplan.
